Description
This course is for anybody who wants to take the first steps into learning. It will determine what course (s) you would like to go on in the future
You will learn:
- You will gain confidence
- You will have a skills check
You will be assessed for the following:
- Literacy
- Numeracy
- ICT
- Employability
You will set up your own learning plan
There will be chance to ask questions and put what you have learned into practice.
Your tutor will give you feedback during the course and you will be able to self-assess.
Work outside of sessions:
You will not be required to do any work outside the session.
Additional costs and what to bring:
This course is offered free of charge and there are no other costs.
Bring along a pen and paper so that you can make your own notes. Handouts may be provided.
Progression from this course:
At the end of the sessions, you will have started your learning journey and will have information on courses that you may like to do next. We have a range of options including English, maths and ICT qualifications and many others. If you decide that you would like to learn with us, we will guarantee the best of teaching and support but in return, we need 100% commitment from YOU. You may like to enrol at a later, more convenient date.
