Description
Lutradur is a semi-transparent spun polyester that can be painted, stitched and, then distressed with a craft soldering iron or heat gun. You will learn to use these to create a vessel that you can either use as a vase or add a tea light to create a lantern. You will add a design with both appliqué and free machine stitch techniques, create a shaped edge and relief details. Lutradur can also be incorporated into art quilts and other textile art projects.
You will design and create your own beautiful 3D textile art vessel that you can either use as a vase or add a tea light to create a lantern. Who is this course is for? Is suitable for those confident in using a sewing machine and is suitable for both those new to Lutradur and to free machine embroidery. You will need to bring £8 for the cost of the materials. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
