DACES

DACES receive funding from the ESFA to provide courses for Derbyshire residents.  By registering/enrolling with us you are consenting to sharing your information with us and funding organisations in line with Government guidance for further education providers and you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of enrolment. On an annual basis you will be required to show evidence of residency to check your eligibility for funding, as well as for ID checks. 

Adult learners aged 19+ If you live in a devolved area you can enrol online, over the phone or in centre, but full cost fees apply and we will contact you about any additional fees due (check your eligibility for funding online).    Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an active an EHC Plan (check your eligibility for funding online).

Description

"The Level 2 Bricklaying Diploma will cover: health and safety, information quantities and communications with others, as well as constructing walls.

Who is this course for?
This course is those with some experience in construction who want to gain the Level 2 Diploma to enable them to work in the industry.

How will I learn?


There are multiple choice tests and practical assessments. You will receive verbal and written feedback throughout. Training sessions will take place for two full days per week.

What will I need?
Wear protective clothing such as overalls and steel toe capped boots. Other personal protective equipment (e.g. gloves and googles) will be supplied.

Are there any other costs?
All of the costs are covered in the advertised course fee, including the accreditation fee.
