DACES

DACES receive funding from the ESFA to provide courses for Derbyshire residents.  By registering/enrolling with us you are consenting to sharing your information with us and funding organisations in line with Government guidance for further education providers and you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of enrolment. On an annual basis you will be required to show evidence of residency to check your eligibility for funding, as well as for ID checks. 

Adult learners aged 19+ If you live in a devolved area you can enrol online, over the phone or in centre, but full cost fees apply and we will contact you about any additional fees due (check your eligibility for funding online).    Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an active an EHC Plan (check your eligibility for funding online).

"This is a level 1 plastering course.

Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who would like to develop skills in plastering

How will I learn?
You will learn how to prepare background surfaces, mix materials and apply render and finishing coats. There will be chance to ask questions and put what you have learned into practice. Your tutor will give you feedback during the course and you will be able to self-assess.

What will I need?
You will need to provide work clothes and safety boots. Other safety equipment such as gloves and goggles will be provided.
