DACES receive funding from the ESFA to provide courses for Derbyshire residents. On an annual basis you will be required to show evidence of residency to check your eligibility for funding, as well as for ID checks.
Adult learners aged 19+ If you live in a devolved area you can enrol online, over the phone or in centre, but full cost fees apply and we will contact you about any additional fees due (check your eligibility for funding online). Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an active an EHC Plan (check your eligibility for funding online).

Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you would like to develop your pottery skills and begin exhibiting and selling your work.
Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom based course.
There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work, group work and homework.
Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy.
You may wish to wear an apron. You may want to bring something to make notes.
Are there any other costs?
There is a charge of £25 for materials which should be paid at the centre. We will contact you about this before your course starts.
