DACES receive funding from the ESFA to provide courses for Derbyshire residents. By registering/enrolling with us you are consenting to sharing your information with us and funding organisations in line with Government guidance for further education providers and you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of enrolment. On an annual basis you will be required to show evidence of residency to check your eligibility for funding, as well as for ID checks.
Adult learners aged 19+ If you live in a devolved area you can enrol online, over the phone or in centre, but full cost fees apply and we will contact you about any additional fees due (check your eligibility for funding online). Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an active an EHC Plan (check your eligibility for funding online).

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven 'purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning.
This course will help you to engage and/or build confidence and improve belief in your own abilities.
You will learn to identify your own strengths and qualities and recognise that they can be used in other ways such as further learning, searching for job vacancies and completing application forms.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are 50+ and unemployed, no prior learning is needed.
Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual and group work.
Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
Bring a pen and something to make notes on if you wish, although these can be provided and your tutor will give you handouts.
Are there any other costs?
This course is free and there are no other costs.
Additional Information
At the end of the course, we hope that you will feel confident to progress onto the next stage, the Introductory Award in Employability Skills.
