Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who has English as a second language. It will help you develop skills in English as a language including reading, writing, and speaking and listening.
How will I learn?
The course will feature a mixture of tutor-led activities, individual work, group work and homework. You will participate in regular reading, writing, speaking & listening activities from Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 3. Prior to the course you will have a confidential interview and assessment to ensure that the course is suitable for you.
This course is based on the ‘Skills for Life' ESOL Curriculum. You will develop a learning plan with your tutor and specifically learn reading, writing, speaking & listening. This course offers the chance to gain a recognised qualification in ESOL.
What will I need?
An course fee may apply. Ask in centre for details. Bring along a pen and paper so that you can make your own notes. A bi-lingual dictionary would also be very useful. Handouts may be provided.
