Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.
Please note, we will be unable to take any payments for courses on 25th February 2025, sorry for any inconvenience.

By continuing you confirm that you are enrolling onto an adult learning course and that you are aged 19 or over on 1 September 2024, or you are enrolling a young person aged 14-18 on 31 August 2024 specifically onto one of our Study Programme courses, and that you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Description
This course aims to give learners knowledge of different specific learning difficulties, how they are diagnosed and how individuals can be supported. This qualification can be used by a wide range learners looking to improve their knowledge and awareness in this subject area
Who is this course for?
Anyone working in a public facing role in their employment or anyone wanting to be supportive to family or friends who have specific learning difficulties.
How will I learn?
This course is delivered online by a tutor, using Microsoft Teams. There are five mandatory units which will be internally and externally assessed to achieve the full level 2 qualification. Evidence collated for the course will be in the form of an electronic portfolio.

Access to the internet & some basic digital skills

Additional Information
Learners may wish to enrol on further level 2 provision with DACES such as Suicide Awareness, Counselling, Autism or Children's Mental Health.
