Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.
Please note, we will be unable to take any payments for courses on 25th February 2025, sorry for any inconvenience.

Description
Do you want to speak Spanish more fluently and build on your conversational skills as well as be able to gain a deeper cultural understanding? This is a progression course from the Spanish Intermediate Term 1. If you did not attend, please contact us and the course tutor will discuss with you areas to be studied and specific topics Typical topics for this level of class are practical things such as: using public transport, staying in a hotel, eating in a restaurant, going to the doctor, booking a flight, hiring a car, visiting tourist attractions This course will help you to maintain or improve your mental health and wellbeing.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you have already completed three years or more of a Spanish course or have equivalent practical knowledge of the language. If you are joining this course, you should already be confident in using the present, perfect, simple past and future tenses and should be able to speak in reasonable detail about a range of topics. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a live online course. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work, group work and homework. You will be given group tasks and can work on your own projects.
What will I need?
You will need a laptop, tablet or Smartphone and internet access to be able to take this course. You will be part of a live class, with a tutor, but with everyone doing the lessons from their own home. We will send you an email at least 48 hours before your course is due to start with link to join the course.
Are there any other costs?
There are no extra costs to the advertised course cost.

There will be a further course to progress on to that will start after this course ends. Your tutor will talk with you about what you could do next.
