Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help build parenting skills and give you the confidence to support your children's learning. This short course provides parents and carers with practical strategies to support neurodiverse children in overcoming common learning barriers. Learners will explore evidence-based approaches for creating inclusive learning environments that cater to the unique needs of neurodiverse children. The course covers techniques for adapting teaching methods, fostering positive behaviour, improving communication, and using assistive technology. By the end of the course, attendees will be equipped with a toolkit of strategies to promote engagement, enhance learning experiences, and help neurodiverse children thrive at both school and home.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a parent or carer of a neurodiverse child or you suspect your child may be neurodiverse. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
