Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.
Please note, we will be unable to take any payments for courses on 25th February 2025, sorry for any inconvenience.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help build parenting skills and give you the confidence to support your children's learning. We invite you and your children to join us for some Lego challenges! Through hands-on activities, parents and children can work together to imagine and build to solve problems and challenges or just free build with the only limit being your imagination. Parents will gain practical strategies to use Lego in everyday life, enhancing playtime and nurturing a positive, collaborative environment at home. Whether it's building stories, solving problems together, or simply enjoying quality time, this course helps parents unlock the power of play for building stronger relationships with their children.
Who is this course for?
This course is for families with children aged from 4 – 12 years. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work and group work. You will be given group tasks and can work on your own projects. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
Please wear comfortable clothes and bring your imagination. You may want to bring something to make notes.

This course is free and there are no other costs.
