Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven 'purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help you to become an active member of your local community. This may include developing skills and knowledge to make improvements to your local environment. Your tutor will introduce you to what the course will cover at the start of the course. You will be working on different creative craft techniques to develop your use of a range of materials This course will give you all you need to get going on craft projects and you will be supported to make them your own, at your own pace
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a beginner or have some art and craft experience This course is for anyone who wants to learn new crafts. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based workshop. There will be many practical activities with guidance from your tutor. You will be given group tasks and can work on your own projects in a friendly, sociable environment. You will be given support and feedback from your tutor so you can improve.
What will I need?
An apron, you don't mind getting mess. You may want to bring something to make notes.

The materials are provided free of charge.
