Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help you to maintain or improve your mental health and wellbeing. Improve your creative writing skills by crafting an exciting, imaginative short story. You will learn through different themes given to you by your tutor who will take you through a series of steps to produce an initial piece of writing.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who feels they want to improve their creative writing skills. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This course will be delivered remotely via Teams and Nearpod, so you will be part of a live class, with a tutor, but with everyone at their own home. There will be chance to ask questions and put what you have learned into practice.
Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You will need either a smart phone, tablet or laptop or other computer with internet access to take part. You may want to bring something to make notes.
This course is free and there are no other costs.
You will access this course through Microsoft Teams. You will be part of a live class, with a tutor, but with everyone doing the lessons from their own home.
We will send you an email at least 24 hours before your course is due to start with instructions for how to join.
