Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
Do you want to speak German more fluently and build on your conversational skills as well as be able to gain a deeper cultural understanding? This is a progression course from German beginners term 2 If you did not attend, please contact us and the course tutor will discuss with you areas to be studied and specific topics This course will keep your brain active and give you a good grasp of the language, enabling you to be confident when speaking abroad (or at home!). This course will help you to maintain or improve your mental health and wellbeing.
Who is this course for?
This is a progression course from our Beginners term 2 and is designed for the beginner Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a live online course. which will provide an opportunity to develop German language skills in a friendly, sociable environment. You will practise in pairs and small groups using a variety of different activities to develop pronunciation and confidence have the opportunity to complete home study tasks to consolidate learning learn with likeminded people make progress at your own individual pace.
What will I need?
You will need a laptop, tablet or Smartphone and internet access to be able to take this course. You will be part of a live class, with a tutor, but with everyone doing the lessons from their own home. We will send you an email at least 48 hours before your course is due to start with link to join the course.
Are there any other costs?
There are no extra costs to the advertised course fee.
Additional Information
Courses are delivered over three terms. On completion of beginners year 1 you will progress to beginners year 2. Your tutor will talk with you about what you could do next.
