Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Description
Have you always wanted to write a novel? Novel writing can be an incredibly cathartic, as well as creative, process. You will learn how to start writing a novel and how to harness your ideas in a mood board. You will learn the importance of genre and setting and how to develop character in a three-dimensional way. You will learn the different ways of planning and plotting and the importance of dialogue, proof-reading and editing your work. The tutor is a published author so can also advise you on the ways to get published.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you would like to write a novel and enjoy writing.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor and there will be a mixture of small group and individual tasks. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You will need to bring a notebook and pen. The tutor will provide any additional resources.
