Description
Q2 Description All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help you build your confidence with learning. This course will help prepare you for further learning, either with us or with other learning providers. This course intended is to help you learn how to start playing and build your confidence playing the guitar, and use it to play along with others, and on your own, to accompany the songs you enjoy. During the course we will learn :- • what the different parts of a guitar do • how to tune the guitar (we will need to do this at the start of each lesson) • how to play clear notes and basic melodies • how play basic chords (groups of notes all played together) • have a go at strumming in time with some popular songs. • use these chords to play songs that we decide to do.
Who is this course for?
This course is for adults with learning disabilities. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
