Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help build parenting skills and give you the confidence to support your children's learning. Bring your family and join us on a lovely family nature walk through the beautiful Shipley Park. This peaceful stroll is perfect for all ages and takes you through a variety of scenic landscapes. As you explore the park, you'll be surrounded by lush greenery, tall trees, and vibrant wildflowers. Keep an eye out for local wildlife such as squirrels and birds. The paths are easy to navigate, making it a great option for little ones or those with pushchairs. This is the perfect opportunity for your family to connect with nature, enjoy some fresh air, and have a relaxing time in one of Derbyshire's hidden gems. The walk will start at Shipley park visitor centre and finish at the play area next to visitor centre. DE75 7GX
Who is this course for?
This course is for parents/carers to enjoy with their children. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is an outdoor course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities and individual work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
Please wear sensible footwear and clothes suitable for the weather. You should bring a drink for you and your children. You may want to bring something to make notes.
Are there any other costs?
This course is free and there are no other costs.
