Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help you to maintain your mental health and wellbeing. Following on from our earlier course, we invite you to further explore the calming power of watercolour. We'll focus on building confidence, unlocking new creative expressions, and deepening your connection with the practice of art as a meditative tool. With new techniques and prompts designed to enhance your wellbeing, you'll discover the lasting impact art can have on your emotional and mental health.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you have previously attended our Brushing up on wellness - watercolour for wellbeing course or would like to explore how art can help you to maintain a positive mental outlook. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities and individual work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You will be using paints so please bring something to cover your clothes. You may want to bring something to make notes.
Are there any other costs?
This course is free and there are no other costs.
