Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help you to maintain your mental health and wellbeing. Join us for a calming watercolour course designed to help you relax and express yourself creatively. Whether you're new to painting or have some experience, this course will guide you through using watercolour as a way to relieve stress and improve your wellbeing. In a friendly and relaxed setting, you'll learn easy techniques that encourage mindfulness and creativity. Let the simple flow of watercolour help you feel more peaceful and focussed while having fun with your art.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a beginner or if you have done some art for wellbeing before. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities and individual work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You will be using paints so please bring something to cover your clothes. You may want to bring something to make notes.
Are there any other costs?
There are no extra costs to the advertised course cost.
