Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven' purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning.
This course will help you build your confidence with learning.
Who is this course is for?
This course is for you if you want to learn a variety of textile craft and stitch techniques You will develop both you sewing machine and hand stitch skills.
If you are a beginner or if you have done mixed media textile classes in the past.
Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be many practical activities with guidance from your tutor. You will be given various tasks and can work on your own projects. You will be given support and feedback from your tutor so you can improve.
What will I need?
Please wear old clothes or a shirt or apron as you may get messy in the mixed media techniques
If you wish to bring your own sewing machine do, or you can use one of ours.
You may wish to have a folder to store handouts, notes or your work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
