Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning.
This course will help you to maintain your mental health and wellbeing.
Come and try a fun, relaxing introduction to the Art for wellbeing course. In this short session, you'll explore how simple creative activities can help reduce stress, boost your mood, and bring a sense of calm. No art experience is needed—just a willingness to try something new and express yourself.
Your tutor will guide you through some easy art exercises, giving you a taste of how art can support your mental wellbeing. It's a great way to see if the full course is right for you, or just enjoy some time to relax and unwind through art. Join us for this peaceful, welcoming session and discover how creativity can be a simple tool to feel better.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a beginner or if you have done some art before. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities and individual work. You will be given tasks and can work on your own projects. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You will be painting so please bring something to cover your clothes. You may want to bring something to make notes.

This course is free and there are no other costs.
