Description
Who is this course for
As learners need to show competence in both skills and knowledge, they will need to be working or be on a practical placement during the taught programme of study in a learning environment (school or college).
Learners should hold or be studying towards Level 2 maths and English.
What you will learn
This qualification provides learners with an in-depth understanding of the knowledge and skills needed when working directly with children and young people in school and college environments. How you will learn
You will attend a weekly class either online or in centre. You will produce an online portfolio of evidence and your tutor will give you individual support and feedback on all the work you produce. Learners will have to do at least five hours of homework per week; this could be researching or reading relevant articles within childcare, writing up work from your placement and work set from class.
