-
Each year we'll check your proof of residency in Derbyshire and entitlement to possible funding
-
Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Description
All of our new Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of seven ‘purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will provide you with skills to get into work or self-employment or to move on or up from your current job. Whether you're returning to work after a break, starting a new role, or simply want to refresh and build your skills, this course will help you feel confident and capable using Excel in a modern workplace. You'll learn how to find your way around in Excel, enter data effectively, use formulas and functions, create simple charts and organise data using basic tools. The course focuses on real-world examples and practical exercises relevant to typical workplace tasks. No previous Excel experience is required — just basic computer skills and a willingness to learn. By the end of the course, you'll have the skills and confidence to use Excel more efficiently and support your work with well-organised, accurate spreadsheets.

This supportive course is for you if you have basic computer skills and need to use Microsoft Excel at work but feel unsure or out of practice with spreadsheets. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
