Each year we'll check your proof of residency in Derbyshire and entitlement to possible funding

Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

By continuing you confirm that you are enrolling onto an adult learning course and that you are aged 19 or over on 1 September 2025, or you are enrolling a young person aged 14-18 on 31 August 2025 specifically onto one of our Study Programme courses, and that you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Description
All of our Tailored Learning courses are matched to one of the seven 'purposes' which have been designed by the Department for Education to recognise the wider benefits of learning. This course will help build parenting skills and give you the confidence to support your children's learning. You will have a go at some simple relaxation activities that you can try at home with your child, such as simple yoga moves to encourage calmness.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you have pre-school aged children, live in the Gamesley area and would like to have a go at some simple and fun activities to support you with your child's learning as they prepare for nursery or school. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course, there will be practical activities and guidance from your tutor. Your tutor will support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
