Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
Never gardened before, already enjoy your garden but want to know more then come along and learn how to sow and propagate seeds to grow plants for baskets and containers.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you've never gardened before, know a little, or lots but would like to improve your knowledge and skills in a practical environment with the support of an experienced and knowledgeable tutor. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is an outdoor course based in a community garden with practical activities and guidance from your tutor.
What will I need?
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather and you don't mind getting dirty. You may wish to wear boots or wellies and gardening gloves, if you have them, and waterproofs for rainy days.
Are there any other costs?
No, this course is free of charge.
