Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Description
This course is designed to introduce learners to the rewarding world of health, social care and nursing. You will be introduced to essential information supporting you to develop a foundation of skills and knowledge. This course will help you to build your confidence so that you can go on to find work in this field.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who is wanting to explore careers in care whether that be nursing or social care roles. You maybe wanting to change career but are unsure of what a career in care looks like, you may be volunteering or supporting a family member and want to develop your knowledge. If this sounds like you, come a long and join us for this 3 week introduction to health & social care and nursing.
How will I learn?
You don't have to have any prior knowledge to attend this course. All skills and abilities are welcome. This is a classroom-based course in a friendly and supportive environment where you will be helped through your next steps. The course introduces you to a variety of tools, techniques and exercises that you use. Our groups are small so you will have plenty of opportunity to hear and learn from the experiences of others.
What will I need?
You may wish to bring a pen and notebook so that you can take notes.

This is a free course and there are no other costs.
Instead of this is a classroom-based course. This is a virtual classroom-based course in a friendly and supportive environment where you will be helped through your next steps.
You will need access to Microsoft Teams so that you can enter the virtual classroom. You will receive instructions about how to do this prior to the start of the course.
