Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
Come to the beautiful Hunloke community gardens to learn about the Big garden Bird Watch. We will take part in a bird count and learn how to use tally charts and bar graphs to record what we see. We will make bird feeders to take home.
Who is this course for?
This course is for people with learning disabilities who would like to take part in a bird count. No experience needed. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. The tutor will demonstrate each task and we will work together to count the birds in the community gardens. our tutor will give you support and feedback, so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
All materials are provided.
The gardens will be cold! Please wear warm clothes, boots or shoes that cover your feet and a waterproof, warm coat.
There are no other costs.
