This often helps to keep costs very reasonable. In return we follow Government guidance:
-
By enrolling you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions and we may share your details with other education providers. This is likely to depend on the type of course chosen.
-
Each year we'll check your proof of residency in Derbyshire and entitlement to possible funding
-
Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.
-
Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

This course will help you build your confidence with learning,
Tea and Tales is a friendly group where adults can enjoy stories in a warm, welcoming space. There's no pressure to read aloud or “get it right” — just a chance to share time, chat, and enjoy a warm drink.
We explore short stories together. You can read or listen, join in, share your thoughts, or simply enjoy the safe, calm space. If you'd like to try reading out loud, you can but you don't have to.
This is a space for anyone who wants to feel more comfortable around stories. If you haven't picked up a book in years or you're just curious to try something new, you'll be welcomed.
Get comfy and let the stories unfold
