Learn simple massage routines for head, shoulders, arms and hands.
Discover the benefits of massage in helping to reduce stress and improve emotional wellbeing.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who has an interest in complementary therapy. You do not need any prior experience.
This course is running during both the morning and afternoon. You can choose to book onto one session or both.
How will I learn?
Join Complementary Therapist and DACES Tutor Lisa on this Introduction to Complementary Therapy course in Chesterfield.
During this interesting, informative one day course, we will explore the role of a Complementary Therapist and consider the skills, and qualifications to work in this rewarding career.
We will also learn two simple massage routines through clothing covering the Head, Neck and Shoulders and Hand and Arm.
With your new skills you will be able to treat yourself, family and friends and discover the benefits of massage in helping to reduce stress and improve emotional wellbeing.
You will learn informally in a classroom within a small group. You will be supported to learn at your own pace in a way that suits you best.
What will I need?
Please bring a notebook and pen and a willingness to learn and be open to new ways of thinking.
Please wear loose comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting oil on. All equipment will be provided.
