Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
Neurodiversity means that every human brain works differently.
Around 1 in 5 people are neurodivergent, which simply means they think and learn in different ways.
The purpose of this session is to help you:
Understand what neurodiversity is
Recognise common traits of neurodivergence
Learn how these traits can affect daily life, health, learning, and work
Explore positive, neuro?affirming strategies that help neurodivergent people thrive in all areas of life
Who is this course for?
Anyone with an interest in neurodiversity, and neuro-affirming practice and who wants to understand why neurodivergent people think and learn differently.
How will I learn?
This is an interactive online “live” learning session, taught by a neurodivergent tutor. There will be lots of opportunity to ask questions and take part in discussions and interactive activities.
What will I need?
A laptop, PC or iPad with camera and microphone enabled, pen/pencil and paper to doodle, jot down notes and draw mind maps.
