Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Description
Are you interested in working in the construction industry? Our CSCS preparation course is designed to help you gain the knowledge you need to pass the CSCS card test and start work on a building site. This 2-day course runs over 2 weeks, which provides essential theory training to prepare you for the CSCS test. Sessions run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day and cover all the key topics required to help you succeed. Click on "the assessment needed button" to select dates available. Once you have completed the training and your workbook, it is your responsibility to book your test at your nearest CITB test centre (e.g. Stockport or Oldham) Test must be booked, independently by you. Test fee: £23.50 (payable when booking). You can take the test when you feel ready.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for anyone who: wants to start a career in construction, needs to obtain a CSCS card (a requirement for working on most construction sites) requires support and guidance to prepare for the test.
What will I learn?
Knowledge to confidently take the CSCS test, understanding of health & safety in construction, preparation to begin work on a construction site. You will learn by tutor lead sessions, completing a workbook of evidence on Health & Safety in the construction environment.
What will I need?
There is no equipment needed for these sessions. You just need to attend both full days to complete the theory required.
