Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Join us for a taster of our Meet and Make for Wellbeing Photography course.
This friendly and relaxed session is all about connecting with others, enjoying creativity, and supporting your wellbeing through photography. Using your camera or phone, you'll explore simple ways to take photos while sharing ideas and experiences in a welcoming group environment.
We'll gently introduce a few helpful techniques such as light, composition and noticing everyday details but the focus isn't on getting things perfect. Instead, it's about slowing down, being present, and enjoying the process of making something creative together.
Whether you're completely new to photography or just looking for a positive and social activity, this session offers a chance to try something different, build confidence, and meet new people.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a beginner or if you have done some photography before. Our courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities and individual work. You will be given tasks and can work on your own projects. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You should bring a camera or a phone with camera capability to take this course. You may want to bring something to make notes.
