Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
Too busy to be bored is a friendly and practical session designed to help parents plan fun, low-cost activities for the summer holidays. Together, we'll share ideas, tips and local opportunities across Derbyshire to keep children engaged, active and entertained without spending a lot of money. You'll leave with a simple plan of activities that suit your family, along with new ideas you may not have considered. It's also a great chance to meet other parents, swap suggestions and feel more confident about making the most of the summer while staying within your budget.
Who is this course for?
This course is for you if you are a parent or carer of a child. Our courses are for people who live in the EMCCA region aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is an online course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. The course will be a mix of tutor-led activities, individual work and group work. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
You will need a device that can access Teams.
