Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Description
This course is perfect for anyone who wants to explore a variety of textile crafts while enhancing their mental health and wellbeing. You will learn to create your own fabric designs using wax resist techniques and dyes, producing either abstract or pictorial patterns. The course introduces both traditional methods and tools, including tjanting tools, wooden block stamps, and wax sticks, giving you a rich and hands-on creative experience.
Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for anyone interested in exploring a range of textile crafts while also supporting your mental health and wellbeing. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. You will be given support and feedback from your tutor so you can improve.
