There are some other bits we need to tell you as we get funding from the Government to provide courses for East Midlands Combined Authority (EMCCA) residences, this includes Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire areas. Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Description
Crochet is an increasingly popular craft that combines the enjoyment of making with improved well-being. Whether you are a complete beginner, a little rusty, or already have some experience, this friendly and welcoming course is suitable for all ability levels. With guidance from our experienced tutor, you will learn at your own pace and work on projects that match your individual skill level. The tutor will tailor support to meet your needs, helping you build confidence and develop new crochet techniques. As well as learning a new skill, you will have the opportunity to meet new people, enjoy a chat, and make new friends in a relaxed classroom environment.
Who is this course for?
This course is perfect for local residents living in Gamesley, and surrounding areas. It is a chance to meet and connect with others in your local community and is suitable for all ability levels. Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. Your tutor will give you support and feedback so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
If you have your own crochet hooks bring them along, if not don't worry as the tutor will provide them along with starter materials
