There are some other bits we need to tell you as we get funding from the Government to provide courses for East Midlands Combined Authority (EMCCA) residences, this includes Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire areas. Adult learners aged over 19 years will generally pay full cost fees unless booking onto a free course. There may be other costs for materials etc.

Learners under 19, or up to 24 with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) should chat to us or take a look here to check elibility for funding.

Join this taster and have a go at the cookery skills needed to make simple, tasty meals that are good for you. For anyone wanting to try health cooking on a budget; learn small changes to eat well.
Who is this course for?
Our Tailored Learning courses are for people who live in Derbyshire aged 19 and over.
How will I learn?
This is a classroom-based course. There will be practical activities with guidance from your tutor. Your tutor will give you support and feedback, so you know what to do to improve.
What will I need?
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting messy. You may wish to wear an apron. You may want to bring something to make notes.
Are there any other costs?
This is course is free and there are no other costs.
